U2500 Special Application Winch With Hawse Fairlead, No Clutch

Requests for a light-duty utility winch that could be mounted almost anywhere resulted in the development of the U2500. A versatile mounting plate allows for mounting on a wide variety of surfaces, from farm equipment, to lawn tractors It can tackle an endless list of hauling and pulling chores. A 3-stage planetary gear design means a lifetime of dependable pulling power, and it comes complete with mounting plate, combination fairlead and battery cables. The U2500 is rated at 2500 lbs single line pull and driven by a 9 hp permanent magnet motor. The freespooling clutch uses a cam activated system which is operated by a winch mounted lever. Controls for the winch are mounted on the motor 50ft of 3/16in diameter wire rope and 120in of battery cable is included. Optional brake may be purchased separately.
